Sombody Turned 2!

 We had a fun week celebrating Hannah's Birthday.  We started of Monday night, her birthday eve, with dinner at the mall and a ride on the Carousel.

Tuesday morning we started the day off with pancakes, which is one of Hannah's favorite breakfasts.  Daddy even made her one in the shape of a 2.  Her maternal cousins sent a picture of them all wishing her a Happy Birthday that we turned into a place-mat, but I didn't get a very good picture of it before it was under the plate.

After we sent Daddy off to work we had four of Hannah's friends over for our weekly Mother's Day Out and had an H themed party.  We made "h"ats and had cupcakes, but I was so busy trying to keep up with five 2 and 3 year olds that I forgot to take a single picture or video.

Before Mommy ran off to church with the youth for the evening we sang Happy Birthday and opened her presents from family that we had received.

 

This is Hannah with her new kitchen that Mommy and Daddy spent the better part of a month building.

She instantly found that if she opened the oven door it made a great ramp/stool to reach the hooks (we have already had to reattach it once).

She has fun showing off the dress that she tells everyone "Megan made it." when they compliment her on it.

And she loves all of the different food and kitchen supplies.

Wednesday our Playgroup was going to the Zoo and it had been a plan to go for her birthday anyways so Daddy took the morning off of work and was very out of place with all of the moms and babies, but it was fun anyways.  We saw Tigers up close through windows.

Shipped Hannah to the zoo as a "Live Tiger".

 We saw some elephants...

 and giraffes.

We saw lots of other animals and Hannah had a ton of fun on the playground during lunch.  Sorry she looks silly in all of the pictures.  She was in a goofy mood and wouldn't sit still at all.

We rounded out the week with a check-up, some shots, and another ride on the Carousel.  We decided to skip the big party that we had originally planned with some friends because life is busy!
